Vanessa Kuc

Principal Architect

Vanessa Kuc is the Co-Founder and Principal Architecte of VK Studio, operating between South of France and Switzerland.
With a robust architectural education from the FHNW School of Architecture in Basel and Ecole d’Architecture Paris Val-de-Seine in Paris, Vanessa has built up afterwards a wide range of experience in the architecture industry over many years in Switzerland.

She began working at Luca Selva Architekten in 2013, where she remained for two years, perfecting her knowledge of master plan development and housing typology.
She then joined Morger Partner Architekten as a project manager between 2016 and 2021, where she took part in renovation projects for heritage-listed buildings and residential projects for private individuals.

Since 2021, she has been working as at Gschwind Architekten, where she has strengthened her approach to construction, which is based on conceptual work and craftsmanship with a conscious use of materials.

Prior to co-founding VK Studio in 2025 with Didier Campana, they lived and worked both in South of France, but participate in competitions with near colleagues in Switzerland.

Didier Campana

Principal Architect

Born in Brussels in Belgium, Didier Campana is graduated architect dplg in ENSA School of Architecture in Marseille in 1988 and received a Master in Economy of Urban Management at the IAE in Aix en Provence in 1989.

After a long stint in one the major of global french engineering IOSIS Management (Egis) as operational project manager on big scale project as Pasteur II Hospital in Nice from 2004 to 2009.

Didier Campana joined Chabanne & Parters Architects in Paris in 2010 as head of the works department. One of the main project that he led directly himself was the National Velodrome and Headquarters of French Federation of Cycling in Saint Quentin en Yvelines, where the Olympic Games of Paris took place.

After this main experience on a huge public equipment, Didier Campana was called in 2016 by ARTELIA engineering to manage the restructuring and extension worksite of Cap 3000 shopping center close to Nice Airport.

In the wake of this large worksite, he went to supply the team of architects Giraldi & Raymond in 2021 on the offshore extension project of Mareterra green district in Monaco to manage external works.

After meeting Vanessa at a sustainable construction master class in Geneva, he decided to join her to co-founding VK Studio in 2025 to manage smaller projects with a craftsmanship approach.
